Course Description:  Students will present, read and study appropriate music literature for high school wind and percussion instrumentalists.  Performances outside of class are required to meet the University of California "F" requirement.  Students are required to participate in all performances and festivals.

Regular testing of music basics and music for performance is done.  Public performance concerts are scheduled throughout the school year in the Truax Center of Performing Arts.    Additional performances, rehearsals, and clinics may be added.

Concert attire for ALL instrumental-performing groups is long black dresses for the girls (must cover shoulder's with straps that are at least 1 inch wide) and black slacks, white shirt, tie, dress shoes and black coat for boys.
